today's inspiration: Lourdes

Lourdes Hernández is a spanish girl and the singer of her one-man band, Russian Red. She is also known as the Spanish Feist, because her fatherland is Spain and every of her indie-folk songs is written, composed and sung by her, in English. This charming and lovely lady is full of with tenderness and with her songs she creats a round and perfect artistic world. The spanish Kling brand discovered this too and cooperated with her as a model in many of their campaigns for example in this last.

today's inspiraton: Oliver Peoples and Devendra Banhart

Hey folks, here is the '11 summer collection for Oliver Peoples. First it was interesting for me because the starring in their campaign video is Devendra Banhart - a very strange fellow but a quite good musician - with Rebecca Schwartz who are real couple in life. This video is really sensitive and intimate, exploring sexuality between genders, the music of course by Devendra. By the way, the glasses also deserve some mention, the collection and the video too has a retro effect, brings something from the sixties and seventies.
